Dive deep into the history of the Gold Rush in Alaska's largest city in the interior, Fairbanks. A Local Specialist, Fairbanks' Gold Daughters will guide you through the process of panning for gold in real Alaskan paydirt. Board the Riverboat Discovery, to hear tales of the Gold Rush and visit a recreated Athabascan Village. Later today, indulge in a salmon bake Regional Meal.

Admire the soulful expanse of Tanana River Valley, stretching hundreds of miles in every direction until it collides into the snow-capped peaks of Denali National Park.
